Im just curious what is the best strategy when facing against someone who runs RPO's on a regular basis? Is MCV the way to go or can you get by with putting an end or two on a hard flat?
Understanding why RPOs work helps you stop them. You can't see them, but your Read Key and Pass Key determine how your defenders play an RPO regardless of their man/zone assignment. Here's an example:

Basically don't pinch your defense and using man align can make sure your opponent doesn't have a numbers advantage in something like a trips formation.
