I prefer to start in a zone scheme to see if the other player can make adjustments - especially if they open with tight formations and run a lot of the early meta offense. And in general the Quarters coverage scheme works against that or anything where it is 2 x 2 formation.
The trouble has started with more 3 x 1 formations - though not so much with bunch (if someone is a bunch master I simply don't have an answer for all of the options - if they aren't then bunch has become easier to defend). Any coverages you like against trey? I seem most susceptible to verticals with the inside WR getting over the top of any zone I drop. If I user it then the middle underneath is open.
Appreciate any wisdom you can share.
