If you are in FG range and having trouble moving the ball do you take the FG?  Do you ever punt the ball?

Punt - never. Only if arm punts, lol

I could punt in certain situations, say 4th & long inside my own redzone, but my punter is 77 ovr, so it wouldn't make sense anyway. In MUT21 when I had a TOTY punter I sure didn't mind punting.

Field goals - yes, if it's 4th & long or if it's 5 seconds before the halftime and I have no timeouts

If you think you are heavily favored or can stop them easily on def, you could gamble on 4th.  Pretty much any other situations you should take your fg.  Punting is situational with down and distance and time but generally if its less then 2, I would go for it unless deep in your territory or first drive of the game.

i punt only: if its 4th and long. i take a fg only: if its close to half time or its a game winner
