Im on old gen and ive played in 2 superbowls this year and got shit on by the run game in both of em. how can i stop it?
I've found *limited* success in stopping the run a few ways.
1. inside stuff almost a must for stopping the run inside
2. cover 4 drop out of dollar and manually bringing the safeties down into the box, then shifting the D line to the direction opposite of the back has worked for me in limiting the run especially outside.
3. Run committing as a last resort.

Question: When you bring the safties in the box outta dollar, are the Safties already in the run fit or do they enter the run fit when you bring them in the box??? Just curious.

That is a great question that I wish I knew the answer to!

I'm fairly certain they'll still start heading towards their assigned zone on snap unless of course they're manned up. However, with solid PRC they might just freeze for a second then crash the line once they see it's a run.
idk about old gen, but current gen if you pinch the dline, and slant down. sometimes it will cause a weird chaotic mesh inside, which will negate any kind of pulling guards, sometimes spring your dts free through the A gap, or muddle it enough that they have to bounce outside where you are playing with a user.
also, run cover 4 and move the safeties into the box but keep corners backed off.
