Making 2 threads to see how everyone's Christmas was, in MUT and in real life.
I spent the majority of my day visiting my Nonna and then my aunt.
Dad's side of the family is from Italy, so it was a very italian Christmas while we were there. We ate a lot of food cooked by Nonna and enjoyed talking about... basically whatever came up! We played a few rounds of Tombola (similar to Bingo here in the US and Loteria in Mexico), the winner getting to pick randomly from a bag of some sweet treats. Unfortunately, I won none of the round (I was one number away on 3 separate equations, but there is no such thing as consolation prizes for non-winners in this family lol). I still managed to get a treat of my own when Nonna won one of the rounds! She can't really eat any sweets due to her diabetes, so unfortunately she missed out on that part. At least she chose to give me a nice king-sized version of my favorite treat EVER, a beautiful Kit-Kat! After that, we ate our second course, had some wonderful dessert, and opened presents. I only got money since there is not anything specific I wanted for Christmas (most of it usually goes to my abuela in Mexico so she can use it to help her neighbors and others due to the mass poverty in that region).
Afterwards we went to my aunts house (mother's sister), ate some food, exchanged some more presents, and called it a day.
I hope all of yall had a wonderful Christmas and enjoy the rest of this year and beyond! Have a wonderful day folks!
