81OVR Team Mode

shouldnt be to hard, im only a 82 rn. probably just take alstott out the line up and use tolbert and see if that drops me enough

I haven't tried altering my line-up yet and I must be an idiot because the verbiage is confusing me. Do the GT players count towards having 7 uncommon players in your line-up? Do you HAVE to have a certain amount of GT players in your line-up to unlock?

yes. need 8 including 2 84s or 87s within that 8

Just put your kicker or punter as your QB1 in your lineup... and sub out during the game.  You will lower your OVR significantly and can still have a stacked team.

Don't forget to sub in your normal QB in game... you can't even hand the ball off with your kicker or punter without getting a weird animation and fumble!

Thank you, this is such a classic move that i would have sorely neglected.  I spent an obscene amount of time getting my roster dialed in this week, but nothing lasts forever.  Was happily running; 20 49ers, 20 Jets, 9/9 Ultimate Preseason + 9/9 TOTW and had fun for a very brief bit of time zooming around the field with my 90 SPD user, but gosh 5'11" is way too short, so I'm almost certainly gonna go back to big Fred Warner.

How's CJ Stroud, anyone used him?  Had a fantastic time with Trevor Lawrence, although i was hoping Gift Wrapped would have a more significant impact than it seemed to.  It's super frustrating when EA wants to lock what little game content actually exists behind paywalls.  I love the idea (trying to balance squads), but as with most things this company attempts, the execution leaves little to be desired.

People will say this is "cheating" but I personally don't see it as being nearly as bad as a lot of the shenanigans we see almost every game (stem glitching... FG and punt blocks on old gen... etc.).

I'm playing MUT for a reason... I want to play with the best cards I can put together on my budget.  I don't need EA crippling my team artificially.
