A couple questions as a Vikings fan!

First off, why do the announcers in the game call Fran Tarkington, Johnny Unitas??

Secondly, why does EA sometimes refuse to upgrade cards that are the top three in their position in the league?

TJ hawkinson is still without any upgrades this year. I Think a couple years ago Dalvin Cook went almost The entire year without an upgrade.

I realize plenty of teams have great players that never get upgraded. My question is why?? Do the programmers and developers literally just do everything they can to upgrade their favorite teams?? Many of us assume they do. I have a feeling it's a legit thing that they do

They just drop less cards overall then what’s needed.

I’ll never understand the gatekeeping. Saquon barely got his first upgrade. Justin Herbert is still an 84. Nick Chubb. The list goes on. No one understands man. 
 

They act like if they made a 87 Mahomes or something that no one would buy a 92 a month later? Idk but there’s literally no reason that would be sensible to me. 
 

MUT is a colossal waste of a potentially great game.

Don't forget, Adrian Peterson has been called "Powell" for almost a decade.

I assume a lot of the cards/promos/releases/etc. are being farmed out to EA India. It's clear that most of the time the creators of the cards have no clue what they're doing.

So many cards don't make sense.. Angry Runs and the cards the MCS players make are pretty much the only creative cards now. Most promos are filled with the wrong players for TT's. The only saving grace for EA is that the MUT addicts will blow their loads when they  re release versions of older cards that worked in past MUT.

Personally I think EA is killing MUT by making it a 2+ hour per day process to try keeping up with each promo.

It's just not worth it anymore. 8 touchdowns just to complete the daily season pass requirements? No thanks!

EA hire hampsters to come up with upgrades, and they also control content drops. So if they hit the wrong button, it gets delayed

The answer to both your questions is the same...as a life long (fairly long life) Vikings fan...I think the answer to both your questions is:  They don't care.  Quality control is minimal...not because they can't do it, or can't afford to do it...they don't care.  Upgraded cards?  Please...for the most part it is the same cards year after year.  Granted this year we got Krause (barely usable card) and Fran (straight garbage card)...but...they don't care.
