A win isn't a win unless you did it with honor, integrity, and good sportsmanship!

Three things 99% of mut players lack nowadays. When I grew up being a cheeseball doing anything desperate to win was worse than losing! 

Beat your opponents with skills. Tell them good game afterwards. Use multiple plays and formations. Be a man and earn their respect! 

DON'T spam the same few plays all game especially if you're already winning by 28 points. DON'T showboat dancing after every good play, that's just being a douche. DON'T kick onside kicks every time or sky cheese kicks, once again being a douche especially if you're winning. 

Don't be a classless spambot using those cheesey plays from YT. People who do that are cowards and have no balls. Yep it works but you sold out to win. That's pathetic. 

Do play real football and show respect to your fellow mut players.

I agree with most of the above.  Definitely wish they would allow us the ability to turn off the childish showboating and excessive celebration animations that are now pervasive in the game.  I also agree that you should try to show respect to your fellow MUT players.  

I actually enjoy getting hit by the same play over and over because it motivates me to go into practice mode and figure out a bag for whatever they're doing.  I think that makes me a better player in the long run.  We can agree to disagree on this point... but the other stuff is spot on.

But alas... a new age is upon us.

For example RPOs. At first I hated it. Couldn't stop it ever. After many games shut it down easily but it's not fun. It forces me to play a certain way, a way I don't want to play. It forces me to use only a few certain plays to stop it. It's boring knowing what's coming next and all game. If I stop it right away they just quit cause they actually don't have any skills but running that play or few plays only. That's not fun. I just want to play some real football where I can pick what formation and play I want. I don't want to be forced into certain plays because they only run that stupid play. That's pee wee football. Kids run they same few plays over and over. This is NFL football so let's play like men. I use a different play every time. I never use a play twice besides FG kick etc. I'd rather lose and play right then win being a dirt bag. It's boring so much so I fell asleep many times playing h2h. Please keep me awake and my heart pumping keeping me guess ohh no what's next. Not Sam will blitz only all game

I'm probably a scum, but if someone can't stop something...I am going to keep running it.  Unless it is some blatant glitch/exploit, those honestly have no place in Madden.  But if it is something like a flood concept on offense, it's really not my fault if you don't know how to use zone drops or make adjustments on defense.

As for the celebration thing...I play to have fun, and the celebrations and seeing my players dance makes me laugh every time.  I once saw an interview with Bill Belichick, where he was encouraging his team to celebrate after good plays, and to let the opponent see them do so.  I don't think it is classless to celebrate.

But yeah, it seems like a lot of Madden players will do anything to win, including cheating/glitching/exploiting.  Not sure why it is accepted by the community.

 YouTube and pay websites teaching people how to cheat probably don't help...but for example with the stem glitch this year, I knew how to do it but refused to, even though all the comp/pro players were doing it.  I guess it just depends what kind of person you are.

It's no wonder we have an incel epidemic.  I want to say that COVID really messed everyone up, but it's so much greater than that, the deep-seated problems are systemic.  While i do not disagree with the bulk of what you've been saying here, I continue to apply an "old" saying (i honestly don't know what/where this came from, but it's been part of my vernacular since the late 90s) -- which is just as relevant today as it was decades ago:

They are indeed, and it is sad. I will say gg but I will rpo at will and don’t expect anyone to tailor their gameplay to adhere to some code of conduct. I MUT for coins for cards, not frens , but I’ll make frens at mutgg forums 🙂👍
