Alstott versus Bettis

Thinking about adding a legend power back. I have Dickerson right now but considering a switch. Anyone use both and have a preference?

I haven’t used either, but Alstott only has 81 COD so that might be a problem

Put Bus at HB and Alstott at FB, problem solved. I’m running Henry and Alstott now. I was leery picking up Mike because I already had the Ghost Perry card, and he played very well for me. But I pulled the 95 Alstott card yesterday so I built him. His lead blocking isn’t as good as Perry but his speed is a game changer if you ever dump the ball off to your FB. Since a lot of people kick to your FB, he helps with that too on returns.

Yah I built him too and am giving him a run but honestly, I have Quadfather, King Henry, Bettis, Perry, Okoye, Byars. Perry and Okoye are by far the best lead blockers....Byars and Bettis are the best receivers, Quadfather and Henry are the best rushers....as much as I like Alstott he just doesn't quite fit in.....

As for kick returns. Perry gets return man for 0 AP, he's a beast in the return game. Alstott is a step down from him there.

If you are just going to run inside, Alstott may be better. Honestly, the way EA created Bettis and his animations, he's more of as receiving back. For a true power back Quadfather with the AKA X factor and persistent is still the best IMO. Henry is a better power back also than Bettis and Alstott.....but if you have to choose between the two, I would say Alstott for inside runs and Bettis if you are trying to get outside or dump the ball off to him.

If you're running a legends TT, you might want to seriously consider geting King Henry as a cheat. He is easily the best RB in the game with his X-Factor.
