Noticeably faster and better at closing (especially on deep vertical routes than if you take over control and try to sprint/close yourself?
Its frustrating because Madden refuses to let a cpu defender make a play (worse than ever this year btw) 99 percent of the time that you the user can often make if your fast enough to switch to them in time but in these cases it feels like you have a better chance letting the cpu do it because while they def wont make the the pick you might have and they might not even break it up, they usually close enough to make he tackle.
As soon as you switch to the corner the WR inexplicably pulls super far away almost regardless of who has the higher speed/same speed ballpark and catches it in stride and youre nowhere near close enough to even make the tackle.
