Im pretty ass tbh if yall got any tips thatd be lit thanks fam
One thing I do is ”View Highlights” after the game to review certain plays, specifically interceptions or sacks. often, I’ll see I made a bad read, someone was open, or i was paranoid about pass rush.
recording your gameplay might be easier to do this too.
also learning to step up in the pocket rather than dropping back 10 yards helps manage the pass rush.
understand defense more especially zone coverages / match / drops
record your gameplay and review, practice mode. if you're sucking first thing to look at is how often you adjust pre snap on defense, then offense, stock defense sucks majority of time
Ignore the deep ball, you don’t have to do this forever but play a season where you just dink and dunk down the field, nothing ever more than ~20 yards from the LOS, seriously, it’s great and then you can rotate in deep balls where if it’s not open you look to your short options
Start playing regular seasons - not WL or All Madden - that way you can see the meta plays that are being spammed and learn to identify and stop them without the play art “crutch”.
If you haven't already, learn play adjustments, then learn how to read defensive plays, like that corner is going to do that, then make smart decisions and you will be able to pick apart and defense, and don't be afraid to run the ball, most people just look at deep shots and not a slow drive with checkdowns and runs
Turn down the power on your vacuum
Use a smaller straw

There's already some really great tips and bits of advice in this thread. I'm with ya on this, brother -- constantly a quest to "git gud" for many of us, especially those of us who are newer(ish) to the game. I've been playing a full calendar year now, this is my second season with MUT. Really the best piece of advice I could give someone starting out is to focus on a single play, at least initially. Learn it, study it liek the back of your hand, lab it (in Practice mode). Literally run that shit over and over.
What playbook do you liek to use? Jets and Eagles are both extremely good, IMO and quite popular. One of the better plays in the entire game is this Double Post (from Eagles). There's numerous variations of this one play that you can set up to keep things interesting. Streak your slot Receiver (and probably Streak or Wheel your HB) and that's a decent place to start. Although, i do think the advice to focus on short "dink and dunk" (less than ~20 yard passes) is outstanding advice.
BE SURE whatever Quarterback you are running has Set Feet Lead ability equipped. At 5AP, it sounds quite expensive, but IMO quite possibly the best ability in the entire game. This single ability will help to improve your passing attack.
Defense is extremely difficult this year, the H2H game is all about limited your mistakes and forcing your opponent to actually have to work hard for yards. My approach is typically "bend but don't break" style defense. For now, focus on offense, the rest will take care of itself. Please let us know any specific questions or issues you may be having. Allowing our opponents to beat themselves is key.

thank you
Hit practice mode bro. Get a playbook you like or are curious about and perhaps watch a YouTube video on what plays are good in that playbook but def hit practice mode to see how you like it. Hit random play on defense unless you struggle against a certain coverage. I used practice mode when I was struggling against the blitz early this year and found that bubble screens/rpos/jetsweeps/endarounds really help me settle down and keep the defense from blitzing every play. If they do I’ve gotten many one play tds because everyone is blitzing the middle and I only gotta beat 1 guy or maybe 2. Good luck bro 👍
Get yourself a playbook with 3 different rpos all to different recievers put them in the audibles and bam you just became a top tier player. And don't forget to kill the clock at the end of a half. Nothing worse than giving up a fg with 10s left.
Pre snap adjustments and abilities.
sadly you have to run the meta on offense and defense
