Anyone else actually ENJOYING the game this year?

I see so many people complaining about MUT this year on the forums, Twitter/X, Reddit, etc. Am I the only person actually enjoying the game this year?

Don't get me wrong, I think most of the complaints in the community are valid. Especially the fact that the best Cards with Best/Free abilities that you can use are LTDs, and cost MILLIONS of coins. But hear me out;

Ive spent about 40$ on the game in total (during blitz I had to), but have grinded every free piece of content they have put out there; Blitz, Turduckens, 100% comp and season pass etc, and I have a 91 Off/91 Def squad right now, can't complain. Personally I enjoy the game and learning/watching youtube videos to improve/beat the meta. If I could change one thing I can't believe they expect us to play 100 MFin solo battles for this comp pass. Playing against the computer is so boring.

I’ll always enjoy the team building aspect but the gameplay is awful, the meta is soooo stale, and the MUT economy is rough this year with too many unattainable (for most people) players. 
 

I basically hate play it when i have nothing else to do… or when a cool promo is happening.

Odd to see this exact thread on other forums within hours of each other. Very suspicious indeed...

I'm being positive for the sake of this game right now was toxic but it's more toxic then usual.

I’m having a hard time. It just seems like a greedy money grab, and now we have the same thing with the forums. The pop up ads in iPad make it unusable but that’s fine if there’s a buck to be made. It used to be a game and everyone from the NFL to the players to Madden to this site are trying to squeeze the last drop out it and I feel I’m being squeezed to.

Just curious what browser your using because I’m on iPad and I’m not really having any problems with ads. I mean I have some ads but they hardly make it unusable by any stretch(I’m using edge)

FWIW, I'm playing less than in past years.

When I do play, it feels like more of a chore. 

2023 has featured some brilliant games like Resident Evil 4 Remake and Alan Wake II. 

So, it's hard to get up for a flagging franchise like Madden. 

I'm hoping Zero Chill restores my interest some.

The negative voices are always loudest. The people enjoying the game aren’t often stopping to make forum post. I have a lot of fun with it. I mostly do solo stuff, so I don’t subject myself to the stress of H2H. Some people here complain more about MUT than I do about my job, and I get paid to do that.

They’ve improved the game a lot for solo players. We didn’t have 4 solos a day a few years ago, just 15 a week with coin rewards and no season passes for free stuff. And if you go look at the MUTHead forums from 2020-21 they will look exactly like these do with complaints about literally every release and gameplay. Like… this is what the game is. They give away more now than ever. I got to 90 OVR without spending any money.   

There’s plenty of issues with gameplay, game mechanics, player overall disparity, etc etc. There is a huge degree of luck involved, in packs, in H2H, in AH finds. This is the game mode we’re playing. In the words of Asmongold, “that’s just the way it is.”

I'm on Chrome. I tried the native browser and got the same thing. Don't get me wrong--I like the site and ads are fine. But they don't have to be annoying to serve their purpose, and this one completely blocks the screen, I mean fills it. Usually I delete them and they're gone, but now there's another one too that pops up in the bottom right on every screen even after I've deleted it. Do you get that too?

nope. The game started off fine. Since Harvest it’s been unplayable. I’ve built a few different teams and schemes to try to make it fun, but gameplay is way too inconsistent..problems/glitches aren’t fixed, and to top it off the content is garbage. 

The NFL should be done with EA. We need a new game. 

Money spenders need to hold off as long as we can this time. Zero chill is where EA makes their money. No doubt they’ll release some big shiny ‘pay to play’ cards.

gameplay looks the least of the worries ,abilities are not even as powerful as they we're (outside the QB abilities) as last year. while the offline portion of MUT  is bland I'm still having fun in other modes like franchise if not I go to another game. (chivalry 2)

Sometimes I get the small ads that pop lower righy but they really aren't in my way. I'm still able to read the content that I'm here to read.
