Is there a ban on trades right now for everyone? none of my cards can be traded but they can be quick sold or auctioned

The trade block came down after Pola-Mao was accidentally auctionable/tradable, and multiple youtubers posted videos on how to exploit training from free eggs on alt accounts.

Basically there was a glitch and youtubers explaining how to break the terms of services.

Another glitch!?! EA is off their rocker this year. I’ve lost track of how many drops have been glitched and of course I haven’t been able to benefit from any of them. Thanks for replying though, thought they were blocking just me for some dumb reason

Yeah it's nothing on your part. I think the trade block was less because of the Pola-Mao error and more because of dumb youtubers publicly telling their viewers to go violate a section of the EA terms of service which they all agreed to when they bought the game.

Farming has been around for years, I dont Think the YouTubers opened up any kind of new world of farming.

Yeah but they were making it public and showing how to use the free eggs. Not anything super new but making it public was their big mistake

The Easter promo is a big money maker for EA so yeah they probably got pissed about it and figured this would stop it but it might backfire

Every YouTuber every year talks about the ToTY farm that generates a huge amount of coins. Probably the biggest farm glitch for past several years and no one ever took down the trade block. 
 

lets not forget that the same YouTubers advertise buying and selling coins at the beginning of every video.
