I had a 40/40 legends TT through around February but broke it up because I was bored of playing without flashy names and exciting young players. It played well and won some super bowls but not worth it to play with all year. For anyone that still uses one, how do you like it?
I’ve been a Legend TT for the whole year and I’m never changing it. The ULs can have Legends or UL chems. I don’t care about “drip” or how they look on the field. My only concern is how they play and I like using players I grew up watching. The only downside was not being able to grind for Hayes. I had to buy him on the AH.

Very respectable. Also doesnt paying a lot for Hayes not make sense if youre essentially paying for the TTR boosts that arent usable with legends TT?

Might have gotten it free grinding it out.
But L TT is still one of the best out there. TTR just made other TT catch up to them.

Hayes is probably the best legends CB in the game currently

Outside of TTR boosts, what makes him better than a taller corner?

He gets the charged X-Factor for every single one, and has Deep Route KO for both man and zone for 0 AP (Depending on which you choose). He is pricey, but he's been lockdown for me on my team ever since I got him.

Yeah auto active and the 2 free abilities is nice to have.
Id put him second behind Calvin though.
I have ALWAYS been a Legends chem guy... but the boosts from the TT Remix promo makes most true Theme Teams better than Legends. I played with Niners and just recently switched to Ravens. If you're rocking 9/9 TT Remix boosts, it's definitely the way to go, in my opinion.

TTR was a game changer and as much as I reaped the benefits, I dont like how many players got so much better lmao. W EA for deserved upgrades and fairness tho.

I have some Cowboys players that he provides boosts too. I have a 40/40 Legends TT with a few Cowboys players and Linderbaum.

How's that Ravens squad treating you? Sorry to see you go, the Niners TT has been an absolute blast, especially after TT Remix promo dropped. Sadly i'm still (forever) stuck at 8/9, but this is home for me, as a lifelong 49er fanboi.
Regarding the other folks discussing Lester Hayes -- he's been wonderful at CB1 opposite Anquan Boldin, although just within the past few days, i've started to get really burned down the sidelines, typically something liek Four Verticals the "B" receiver tends to get 3-4 steps ahead of my best defenders and not sure what adjustments i should be making, other than "Back Off." I'm NOT pressing, so it's not an issue of SOE ability causing me to get cooked. This happens after i've "Guessed Pass" and it's happened multiple times. Is this a known / buggy route, or what am i missing here? Lester got burned multiple times and Joey Porter Jr. (playing OOP at SS) in Cover 2 Man couldn't manage to provide any over the top deep help, two dudes just watched him run away from them and ultimately catch multiple long TDs. Is it me being terrible, or something else entirely? Thanks for any insight.
I've ran a legends TT since I started playing Madden in 16, this is just the first year I got extra boosts from it. The history of the game has always been a huge interest of mine so I'll always run a legends TT. Just playing with some all time greats (and some not so great.. lol) makes it more fun for me, regardless if I get extra boosts or not. Super excited when a giants legend drops though

The Ravens TT is fine I guess... but I think the 49ers TT is a bit better. I suppose all TT's are pretty much the same these days. I play a lot of 3-4 Odd to stop the run and Willis/Warner is a better combo than Roquan/Queen. I also miss Moss as my WR1. I'm still having fun running the ball with three Vanguard TE's clearing huge paths down the field... but I did swap out Jelani Woods for Kittle who has MUCH better run blocking stats.
As for that play... I have run the Saints offense for 5 years now but haven't spent much time in Flex Y Off Wk... not sure if that route is glitched or not but I'll have to remember it the next time I face C2Man. Maybe the TEs are faster now and doing a better job distracting the Safety on that side? The "B" route itself looks like it would beat the man CB down the sideline (assuming he's outside the numbers and has Short Out Elite) as I use similar routes from other formations for that very purpose...

I had a legends TT and it was super underwhelming so I sold it off and went back to packers TT when TTR came out
