Bro it’s June you’d have a very valid point I dunno 9 months ago? But this game is dead If someone wants to drop a million coins to try out a running back or really any other card for that matter, theyre far From a moron. Yeah I get it there’s budget options or cheaper cards that are available that are very good but who cares.   If you’ve been playing all year you should have more then enough coins where a million isn’t making or breaking you. Plus the craziest thing is you can sell it back when you’re done using it And not really take much of a loss if you know when to get rid of it. This is just laughable that you’re going around calling people morons in June when this game has been dead and in a month college football comes out and in 2 months the new madden comes out.  If you’re worrying about your coins now you’re playing the wrong game.  Rookie premiere has been complete trash and not worth it either. So there is literally nothing to spend coins on other then trying out some new players

My question was what is the maximum amount of coins you'd spend on a RB.

We’re in June. Even if we weren’t in June there is no right or wrong answer on what you should spend on a certain card. That number is going to be picked by you and should be picked by you only.  Who cares what some random dude on the internet thinks is right. in this game you can’t save coins you can’t transfer them to next year, there is  no point so you mine as well try out cards that you want to try out. And if that card costs 2million so be it. Have fun with the game at this point of the year

This thread was titled ”auction house“, so card value is a relevant talking point. If you didn’t want to discuss the market, or engage on market discourse, then why are you here. 

I get the whole ”YOLO” mindset, but most YOLO purchases are moronic purchases.

I think what people choose to do is their own business. Games can be fun and fustrating too. I overall enjoy the game, it's a big step forward from the Joe Namath electronic football I played as a kid !

The acerbic response about million-dollar runningbacks was valid to the extent that the difference between the current LTD options and Eric Dickerson with the RoH Token really aren't that much. Earlier in the year, when speed is still king, it's not uncommon for guys to spend a million on the newest runningback. It's an important position, but the reason it doesn't achieve super-high value most often goes back to the relative quality of players at the position.

But there was a friendlier way to say what was said.

If you read the second comment it literally said the number can be decided by you and you only. Plus you didn’t touch any of the relevant points I said about the market.  But either way were not talking about everyday money here, we’re talking about a virtual currency in a video game That truly means nothing. I didn’t say to go spend 1 million on a card that’s going for 400k. When cards are that much and stay at that value, 9/10 they’re worth it. Whether it’s A RB, Ss, or a CB It doesn’t matter.  Value wise I get it, bo Jackson and Eric Dickerson are pretty close to each other with the xfactors and abilities, I’ve used both a lot. But you could argue that same thing with every single card that they release so it’s a pretty pointless argument. Have a good one tho and The reason I’m here is the same as you, to give my opinion on the threads and comments in these threads.  I just don’t think my opinion is end all be all like you I guess is the difference.

This was exactly my point.  Who cares what a card costs as long as you’re gonna have fun with it.  I’ve enjoyed the game all year this way playing however I want.  I personally could care less if Joe schmoe thinks I’m a moron on the internet.  Play games to have fun and that’s that

I noticed folks paying over 2.5 mil for gt Lynch which makes my point people will pay what they want and enjoy the game!
