Auction house ban

Has anyone actually been permanently banned from the auction house or does EA eventually lift the ban at some point?

I got a 24 hour ban once during Blitz for buying and selling too many of the same card on the companion app (was buying a ton of Ryan Lindstrom's at 40-50k and reposting for 70-80k). Never been permanently banned though.
