This is for anyone who primarily runs man. What players are you using and what abilities are you stacking? I’ve been running different types of zone all year and have my abilities based on that, but game is starting to get a little stale for me. Wanna switch it up and try something new. Lmk what you guys are using. Any info is appreciated.
People with cheap in/out shade or OSA.
PA and Acro
i run lb blitz out of big nickel with pola moa and woodson in the box with PA and acro and leon and ed reed up top with PA and deep out cus sometimes i’ll run cover 4 and i have deion and sauce outside with cromartie in the slot with inside shade but honestly it’s looking like short in counters inside step so i might switch him to some knockouts

Yes I am.
Also what types of adjustments are y’all making to your coverage shades?

Thats 10 AP by itself?!
Mostly running Cover 2, from either Nickel or Dollar packages, although i continue to tinker a bit. Here's what i've landed on as of this week. After a ~month of using almost exclusively Zone, Tariq Woolen has finally been replaced by Pat Pete and i've converted back to Man. Adjustments to your defensive schemes in Man are absolutely essential... that's been the key to making this work. Whatever your opponent is doing, adjust accordingly. If it's trips/trey/trio typically i'd want to Shade Inside. If you ultimately press, be careful, but also Shade Overtop. I regularly "guess Pass" (R1 / RB) and hope for the best, but this will get you lit up in the run game. NTL and Cromartie are my Slot corners, Deion and Pat Pete on the outside edges, with hopefully lock-down ability stack. D-line is Maniac & George for Unstoppable Force X-factor, with Reggie White (DT) using 1AP per. Reggie gets 3 Abilities for a mere 1AP, difficult to beat. 45/50 49ers TT:
- CB Deion: (2AP) Pick Artist, Short Route KO, Mid Route KO, Deep Route KO
- CB NTL: (1AP) Pick Artist, Mid or Deep Route KO (depending upon what i'm doing/playing, mostly Deep)
- CB Patrick Peterson: (3AP) Shutdown X-factor, OSA, Pick Artist, Deep Route KO
- CB Cromartie: (1AP) Inside Shade, Pick Artist
- FS: Byard (1AP) Pick Artist, Acrobat, Deep Zone KO
- SS: Palo-Mao (1AP) Pick Artist, Deep Zone KO
- SUBLB: Chinn (0AP) Pick Artist
- SUBLB: Justin Simmons (0AP) Pick Artist
This thread helped me a ton with adjustments.
Reason: Linked prior MUT thread.

Patrick is 1 AP
Horn gets inside and outside for 2 AP
Woolen is 3 AP
Night Train is 3 AP
I only have 2 corners and 2 safeties.

Ah i was just looking at OSA not thinking Horn

A lot of people overlook that inside and outside makes OSA.
until the GT corners come out or they drop corners with cheaper abilities id say pat pet and cro are the best options for man pat pet have 1 ap OSA and cro with 1 ap in side shade. i stack cro with Inside shade deep route and short route KO with pick artist and pat pet OSA an deep route I don't wanna waste another ap on pick artist it sucks but he boxes his guy so they just shouldn't be throwing at him my other dbs have deep route ko pick artist and I have arobat on ps2 just to try and my other db has deep out zone I like to play around with abilities that go along with deep route KO and pick artist. then my safteys have pick artist and deep route

shade up and outside if you have no deep blues on the field which is usually what I do I send 5 usually 1 is a user then the others man but if you have them you can kinda do anything but usually shade outside the user should take anything inside
