I have some holes at certain positions like DB, MLB, TE, WR, HB. Who should I be targeting under 100K?
TE Kyle Pitts
CB Night train lane or Jaylon Johnson (depending if you run man or Zone),
HB Free Barry sanders is fine, especially if you‘re budget
MLB foyesade oluokun or luke kuechly. I wouldn’t worry about this though because you get a free 92 speed jack campbell in the comp pass
There are tons of great budget WRs just sort by speed and see who you like
Just make sure theyre meeting thresholds. Thats all that matters.

Man, i tried to use that Barry Sanders last evening, he doesn't even get a decent juke move -- or is it just me? I see a bunch of folks using him, but gosh... this Barry feels somewhat underwhelming. I had to go back to Run CMC for the time being. Kind of sucks we get Angry Runs QB this week, i prefer having an actual / usable HB for free.
If you're working your way through the Comp Pass, you should be somewhat close to unlocking the free 90 OVR BND Unstoppable pack, where you can choose that Kyle Pitts TE. He's fantastic as a receiver or TE. Big body, decently fast (although there are better these days) and not impossible to activate his 0AP Route Tech X-factor ability. Really great card, he's still on my roster as WR3. Also can potentially help in the run game if you're able to put more big bodies on the field, it can trigger the artificial AI nonsense that helps give you a significant advantage in run blocking.
Due to the fact that we're getting an extremely nice Zero Chill strategy item (with +1 SPD), i'd seriously consider poking through the list of 90 OVR Zero Chill options, there's some really great players. Not difficult to build the sets. In fact, i just replaced Kevin Mawae (C) for a Zero Chill budget lineman. Don't snooze on the fact that you can easily adjust whatever Team Captains your squad needs. Maxing out any of these options tend to be really viable cards. I used the Channing Crowder as my primary USER for a while, he was decently fast at the time. Just last night i converted to the Jordan Reed as TE1, as that was my largest position of need.
EDIT: and yes, it's super important to learn what the minimum thresholds are for stats -- for example, in pass coverage, you'd want to have either 90 MCV/ZCV for your DBs, depending upon what scheme you run. Or the opposite remains true for other side of the ball, try to hit the 90 SRR/MRR/DRR on your receivers, with 85 being the bare minimum. It's not obvious, but i've also been learning how important size is on both O & D lines. 300 pound appears to be the magic mark we need to hit.
