Did anyone recently block a field goal and have the ball magically bounce forward in the air, off a player, into the hands of a kicking team player and then that player runs it into the end zone for a touchdown? I think what happened ranks up there with the magic bullet theory of the President Kennedy assassination!
Is it legal for the kicking team to advance the football after the ball has been kicked and blocked?
On a blocked field goal as long as the ball stays behind the line of scrimmage it is legal for the kicking team to advance the ball.
While the physics may be wonky, it's possible that this is how it would be ruled if this happened irl.
All I know is that getting that much hand on a kicked ball HURTS!

You're leaving out that if the ball goes past the LOS if the Defense touches it again its a live ball and the Kicking team can advance.
