BUG - Redux Lamar does NOT have the same abilities as TOTW Lamar

Before I start, Justin Fields is the worst QB in the game

Anyways...

So I decided to try out Fields' TOTW card, as I had been using TOTW Lamar since he dropped and been running an RPO/option scheme.  After quickly realizing how much of a trashcan Fields was, I decided to get rid of him and go back to Lamar.  I had used RG3 for a week, but didn't feel he ran the scheme as well as Lamar, so decided to go back (and bank some coin). 

Picked up the redux version, and he does not have Fastbreak available to equip in slot 3.

Am I losing it, or does every other redux get the same abilities as the LTD that proceeded it?  Luckily his redux is dirt cheap, so I didn't lose many coins, but was frustrated by it nonetheless.

It is so unfortunate, I had high hopes for him. 

I also just wanted a change, I had been using Lamar since he dropped sans RG3 for about 5 games.  Was just wanting some fresh blood.

He can't complete any pass if there is anyone w/in 10 yards of him.  That TUP + paranoid trait really shows.  I don't throw a bunch, but the few simple throws I do incorporate, he just flat sailed, and it was consistently.  Wasn't just a one of two throw thing.  :(

You're not losing it.  My Redux Russ Grim had the same abilities as the LTD, so I would imagine it's a bug.

And yeah, Fields is really disappointing.  I haven't used any of his cards since the 88 but I haven't wanted or needed to. A big shame if you're a fan, which I am.

The problem appears to be the fact they changed his archetype between items. One is a scrambler and the other is an improviser, which changes the requirements and AP cost of natural tier 1-3 buckets. I'll have to buy redux lamar today to update and match what's in-game.

I should have sent you mine before I rage quicksold it :D

But no, the ability buckets on GG are correct to what's in game.  Doubled checked here after I bought him just to see what GG had, and it was the same as the redux I just purchased.

Yeah, I see the issue now. The custom bucket will match with both items but the T1-T3 ability buckets are being calculated for different archetypes. They should match on here but the issue is in-game and the fact the redux isn't identical.

I haven't tried the new fields yet but the 88 played great for me up till I got Prescott, what's his biggest flaw? Is it just paranoid under pressure or is there something else?

I have my boy blue JA17.  I still use him from time to time

It's funny, the sole reason I STARTED MUT was because I was so tired of running quickplay/franchise w/ trash Buffalo teams.  With MUT, I could still be the "Bills", but have good players to play online w/ for a change.

I have never run a TT in MUT, and prolly won't ever start.  I'm kinda a lame, I use whoever and whatever card best fits the way I like to play, regardless of if I like them or not.  I usually end the year w/ little to no Bills cards because their legends are usually bunk outside Brucie.

He SHOULD get the ability combo I want the way he plays, but EA is like "nah fam fudge you".  His abilities suck, and his speed/AGI/COD are poop compared to Lamar/Fields/RG3.  

I will have to wait until later in the year to really enjoy a good Josh card :(

That SBMVP 99 should have some good abilities

I'm assuming its his paranoid trait, because his TUP isn't THAT much lower than Lamars, and I've never had that issue w/ Lamar.

It's most noticeable on high balls.  They sail, and they sail almost every time.  If there is a lick of pressure, his throws are usually high and way off target.  You see those throws OCCASIONALLY from RG3, or really any QB w/o Fearless, but not to the extent Fields did.

Don’t think the issue is fields. Not saying its you. Just weird cuz his abilities and ratings are solid. What specific problem did you have with him?
