Byars review after a few games

I wanted to be impressed.  I did.  Dickerson is better. 

Byars even with Tank, fumbled twice  in like 15 carries. Both in the red zone

He didn't move the pile as I'd hoped.  He didn't move as well after the catch as I thought he would.  

He's a fine back but he's not Dickerson . Okoye was also better in short yardage.

Byars got stopped at the goal line twice for me whereas Dickerson bounced off and fought.  

This is just my experience. I mean if you're playing Solo battles with him he's fine.  But all of this was online.

I'll have to test him. Lynch was way better for me than Dickerson. I used Dickerson for about 10-15 games and just wasnt impressed. Seemed like Lynch was more fluid and broke more tackles. Was hoping Byars would be good. I've heard mixed reviews on Dickerson though.

Lynch is ok. Honestly I think Okoye and even Fridge are the best power backs in the game

Dickerson has clutch and HM where Byers doesnt

That's because even though he's listed as a power back, he is definitely a receiving back and by far now the best receiving back in the game. You should be using him for quick runs and for quick passes

Don’t disagree with you much but I have to here . Dickerson was very good for me but byars has been even better.

Both fumbles were on receptionsin the flats.

Hey that's cool bro, I'm glad he plays well for you and honestly 7 or 8 games probably isn't a big enough sample size.....

Not giving up on him yet but everyone is different in how they feel with a player especially a QB or HB.

I hope he continues to play well for you :)

How does Byars compare to DMurray? Curious for Eagles TT

I agree with you. I like Dickerson better as a runner, he feels way shiftier

That's not what I wanted to hear, Marty! Lol! I just picked him up and will try him out tomorrow when I can get back online. I wasn't impressed with Okoye and liked Lynch better. Didn't get Dickerson based on numerous average reviews. A solid receiving HB is important to me this year and I'm hoping he'll play better for me. I don't play online much, so he'll probably be fine for me. I'm confident he'll be incredible for catching out the of the backfield, but hope he doesn't give up the ball like he didn't for you Marty.

I have had the opposite experience with him so far. Dickerson did nothing for me. Lynch was pretty good but he didn’t move that great to use for receiving.

Byars hasn’t fumbled at all, catches everything, constantly gets extra yards. He falls forward all the time and gets like 7-9 yards when he should only get 2-3.

I agree HB’s are very subjective as we all use them in different ways but he has been by far the best HB I’ve used in MUT23.

Byars is a glitch.

If you are ONLY interested in power running up the middle and you play H2H I have to give the “slight” edge to Dickerson just based on his ability to slip between the lineman a little better.

However, this card is meant to be used in many more ways IMO.  If you had told me I’d be replacing my elusive back and return man in LT with a mutated 6’4” tank of a back I would’ve called you crazy.  The key to Byars is creating one on one matchups because he wins 99% of them.  Screens, streaks and crossers…this guy can put the fear into your opponent.

On a return just now he was turning and cutting like CJ2K and it dawned on me that with human joystick this could be the most glitch card so far this year.  I haven’t tried it.  5ap isn’t cheap but I‘ll have to check it out.

O-Line is super important for running this year.  For anyone having issues with either Dickerson or Byars I’d probably look at upgrading lineman.
