I'm a bit surprised they didn't give Cam didn't get an AKA card after getting one of the coolest nicknames in "Super Cam" and it would of made a sick card art. I'm surprised they gave Mike Singletary and Howie Long and not Cam, and are they planning to give Cam a legends card or some other card, because I think there is no reason to not give Cam a card especially with a perfect opportunity in AKA. Thoughts? Also please do the poll.
Who deserved an AKA card more
It’s a nice idea. The card art would be fire but the only reason they didn’t is probably because they only did legends+TB12. The Slay choice was definitely an outlier. Not sure why they mostly did legends but current players would’ve been cool. Only issue is some of them already have cards like King Henry and JJettas. I didn’t even know Singletary had a nickname until now lol
Would’ve loved Superman Cam for AKA but I don’t think he gets a Legend
EA is probably waiting on Cam to retire before they give him a card. Would be weird if they gave him legends chem then a team signs him irl.
I think they really reached with the nickname for Singletary but he was by FAR the more dominant player.
Cam had a couple of good seasons, one great season, and fell apart. And then there's the infamous fumble in the Super Bowl where he became a spectator instead of sticking his nose in there in what was only the biggest game of his life
Singletary was a dominant force his entire career, probably the best MLB of his Era and the leader of one of the top defenses of all time for many years...and this is coming from a Giants fan who contends that the 86 Giants were nearly as good a D as the 85 Bears

Dude same! lmao
Frankly, they missed out on SO many famous nicknames Broadway Joe, Slingin Sammy, Crazylegs Hirsch, The Assassin, The Snake (who was probably John Madden's favorite player of All time IRL), Hacksaw Reyonlds, Billy White Shoes Johnson, Ickey (shuffle) Woods, Moose Johnston, etc

It all comes down to whether they have the rights to the players names or not. They can't just make any past player unless they have the rights and it changes year to year. Alot of people don't realize this is why some big names never received a card in any given year. It's kind of frustrating but it is what it is.

Oh I know, but I know that they have the rights to at least half the players I named. There's a list and there's also history of previous cards. It is rare that if they have the licensing one year that the next year or 2 it gets pulled. They've had Namath, Elroy, Billy, I think Sammy, Tatum....at least those guys. I don't know if they have Moose or Stabler because I don't recall a Kenny Stabler card
Super Cam is cool? Woof.
Hell probably get a playoff legendary card at best for the legendary plays he did to have the broncos win that super bowl.

Yes actually. Blount and woodson have been in and out of the game the last couple years and they were staples. I used to exclusively run STeelers TT prior to this.
Ward, Hines, Bettis, Ham, and multiple other Steelers have either been in and out or in one year and havent been seen since then.
Really the ONLY 2 steelers that are almost guarantee are MJG and K. Greene (and we havent had Greene yet but he passed so who knows)

C'mon bro, like Cam said, his leg was contorted in a way that made it impossible for him to make even the slightest effort to dive in and get after that fumble ; it was just the Super Bowl and a recoverable ball...someone else should have gotten it. Like Cam said, that fumble didn't lose the Super Bowl - I mean we all know that turnovers in big games don't mean ANYTHING right? And the morale when you see your QB who has been selfish all season just stand there and watch the biggest game of their careers go up in flames? man, that morale must have shot right up through the roof....you just KNOW how badly they wanted to play for Cam after that.
I guess Superman's kryptonite was Von Miller and a small, oval shaped , air filled ball (unless you're Brady, in which case I would say half-filled ball)
