Catalog in M24

Can someone explain the Catalog to me?  Is is just crazy glitched or am I not using it correctly? Seems lilke I'm chasing my tail any time I try to use it

wondering the same, I'm not understanding any of it, but it also never seems to "find" players or provide any info for me, wondering if Its glitching or me or if everyone is experiencing the same

I think the global thing is supposed to be the percentage of players with that item in their lineup
