If you have the time and patience for this (at least the soundtrack is pretty sweet) you can buy low priced golds and then turn it into playbooks that sell for the most via the base team item set. I would personally rather just play the game anyway though tbh.

This is the safest method I have found...but...it is very painful.

It is absolutely painful indeed. I only do one or two at a time and then go play a game. At least they fixed the menu lag though, so that helps.
