Cromartie >>>> Night Train. I did the math and sadly, it’s not even close

I’m going to be honest with ya’ll, I saw the NTL card released and just like a ton of you… I was Omg I have to get him!! the 99 logo, the card art fiiire so before making a 1.5 Million coin purchase, I went and did the dirty work for ya’ll and really dove into how good the card was, attributes and abilities compared to one of my favorite cards on my team and the result is kind of crazy.…..
So some of y’all are high on CB’s with height and first off Crow is 6’2” and NTL is 6’1. I have sugar rush strat on so both players 99 speed, 99 accel, but NTL 96 agility Crow 98…..

PRC the exact same, man and zone basically the same but, Crow has 99 Press he’s my slot CB and NTL…. 96 

Awareness.. the exact same, and even COD NTL has 97 and Crow with 98 

now NTL does FINALLY win in a couple categories and that’s Power and Pursuit, he’s a CB tho, are you hit sticking him like a MLB all game or like a FS - SS ? No

all in all when it comes to Attributes EA gives Cromartie a slight + in attributes over night train! remember one card is 500k the other is 1.5 Million 

now let’s get to the juicy stuff, and that’s the Abilities. i run PA, Short Route KO and Inside Shade on Crow for 2 AP, he’s lockdown absolute stud. 

On NTL you can run the same thing for THREE AP!!! 

Now if he got 2 discounted Zero AP’ buckets sure this card is way different and shit its MID APRIL, he should have 2 of them but he sadly doesn’t. 
 

And you could get technical and say well he’s for the 1 Million more coins bcuz he does have Film Study for 1AP OvOSZN !! Well, I have Kevin Byard (beast) with 1AP Film Study lol. 
 

idk its all preference at the end of the day but I know a tonnnn of streamers, content creators and people in the MUT.gg community that thought this release was super mid. 
maybe ea steps it up and releases 3 99’s in part 2 and they really stand out. For now my time here is done, and remember one card is 1.5 mil… the other is 500k.

No doubt I just wanted the masses to understand the difference isn’t by any means substantial and it even leans towards Cromartie a bit, especially for the 1 million coin difference. 
 

Shoot with the egg glitch so many people have tons of coins I’m sure there’s some people will be like ohhh shiit the card art is fire I’m gonna go get him lol

I’ve been thinking of swapping out my woolen for cromartie tbh since I have kam, berry, and Sean T and Talib is cheap lol

are you getting the UL CB chems on Cromartie?  i knew NTL wasn't going to crack the CB 1-4 because of UL chems but i figured i would put him in slot 1.  eventually.  maybe next release when/if there were 98's i wanted.  jimmy smith is mildly interesting but not enough to do the set today.

Cromartie makes plays, a ton of them! Gets great animations and is 6’2”. I play all Man 2 Man tho and have my team set up like that so idk how he would be in zone? 

But go to compare MUT players on this site and compare Cromartie to Woolen and press “Show all ratings” and you’ll be impressed lol

Nope no UL Chems. 

Jimmy Looks solid, i don’t think he’s better than Zero AP Cedee Lamb tho, or Mike Will

NTL is just a better Mel Blount, should be used in the same way.

You've completely missed the point when it comes to Night Train Lane. It's not the fact that he may or may not be the best in coverage, but instead its about he's a hard-hitting corner. Thats always been his hallmark all throughout the years in Madden and in real life! What makes him even more lethal are the very reasons you want to dismiss: his coverage skills. He can do everything on the field. Also his price will be up just because the set is limited. He's a great addition to any team and is arguably the best nickel lb since he wouldnt have issues covering tightends. Overall he's a top 3 corner and he's not 3 or 2.

No I completely understand he’s got 98 power but his coverage skills, Agiltiy, Press, COD, are ALL lower than Cromartie. (and NTL he’s a man 2man cb which makes it even more weird) 

And yeah it’s mid April, any whatever of whatever card coming out especially… a boss legend should be the best card in their respected position, we are stating the obvious here now champ.

 all I’m saying is what thousands of others are, this program is mid, and I expected a card that is going for 1.5-2Million, remember what we are comparing here Teddy,  i don’t expect it be super similar or literally identical to a 98 going for 500K

Let’s see how he plays on the field first before we draw any conclusions.

Haven't tried this new NTL but Cromartie makes so many plays. Even his 95 was insane

I have ROH deion and UL cromartie and ive played about 10 games with NTL and he doesnt play like a gold 99 in my opinion, deion and cro make a lot more plays for me idk what it is lol, i used him at cb1 but now im moving him to cb3

Well I'm fixin to upgrade NTL and put him to the test ! I'm excited cause I run a 50/50 rams TT. Sold jackrabbit cause he hasn't played well for me honestly, so now running ramsey, Talib and NTL
