I can't tell you how many times I've had this happen to me. Needs a patch so bad.

I play a Cover 3 scheme with two Deep Zone KOs, anytime the ball is caught by the sideline (often on corner routes) my KO player will light up the WR and the ball will go flying in the air. But because it happens near the sideline, it a complete pass.

This needs patched SO BAD. I've lost countless games because of this and its infuriating everytime. Does it happen to anyone else? Because of my scheme it happens to me, I'm not even kidding, 3-5 times a game.

yes and imo it should be a catch if you are able to fit the ball in that tight window. Adds skill gap to the game when everyone wants to sit in pressed cover 3 and not adjust and hope their KOs which are more  psychic than last year because the user catching is worse break up everything. 

 just run a 25-30 yard flat short side and then they can't throw it.
