Been getting cooked running man lately so switched to zone and getting cooked some more… what are some adjustments you guys have that work fairly well? I’m talking zone drops, plays, coverages, everything. Maybe it’s the weekend sweats killing me i don’t know. All I know is I’m having a rough go of it these past two days.
What specifically are you having the most trouble with. Formations, route combo, etc.

I find that when I run man, opponents come out in Gun Tight. When I switch to zone, opponents run Doubles, Trey Y Flex, etc. Mainly it’s the drag routes that kill me. Then when I try and user, they throw over the middle. Also, corner routes NEVER get stopped in zone coverage. Man was working pretty well, but lately, defenders just been running into each other leaving guys open.
If you’re on old gen feel free to dm me. I don’t think the gameplay really translates to the newer consoles so I can’t help if you’re playing on new/next gen (whatever it’s called).
What playbook you using?

To stop corner routes, I set my slot corners to drop 20-25 yards. Don’t press your corners unless you are in base alignment. If they switch to doubles, they’re most likely throwing a quick seam to the slot or tight end, so bring your safeties down to 10 yards from the line of scrimmage to prevent any quick passes to either of the seams
