But depending on how many 86s you have, you can get some serious training, with bland and deion in packs it might be a gamble worth taking, and if you don't pull anything just save all the cards for team diamonds sets

I'm super convinced that all high Core Elite cards are going to be required to build the sets - especially 84-86s. I'd hold on to them until the requirements are revealed. There aren't enough TPs coming from lower Core Elites to get the sets to create more TP than the 92 OVR TP (26,000). And historically (and logically), it takes significantly more TP to build the card than you get out of it.

That was my play too. 86s + 84s + cheap 82s = DDs that should yield decent profits. Also, the 84s (for Headliners 87s and Campus Heroes 85s) and 85s (for the UK 85s) may also pay well. Rare 86 set pieces (Juszczyk? Townsend? Tucker?) may spike in value especially if they line up with in-demand team sets.
My other guess is that there won't be program "single player, multiple cards" cards in these sets. So no Bettis 84, but yes Bettis/Bus 87 AKA for one of the AFC North sets. That means you should be paying less for those cards than for Core Elite 84/85/86 cards.
As I'll say at the end of all my TD-related notes, I've been wrong before!!!

how high do u think core set 86's are going to sell for if u had to guess? ofc saying they are in the sets
Don't know if you messed up...but I have found...whenever you put all your eggs (in this case your coin stack) into one basket...you are flirting with disaster. Hope it works out for you.
It's gonna depend on how they line up over the TD sets themselves. Let's go back to the NFC North for a sec. If the Justin Jefferson 86 OVR is placed in the Vikings bucket - and all the Vikes fans want Tarkenton - it'll be more than if it's in the Lions set, where nobody gives a crap about Kevin Glover. So not to avoid your question, but cards in divisions with more Theme Team demand (i.e., NFC East, NFC West, and AFC North) may be higher than in others with less (NFC South and AFC South). High end? As high as 45-50k. Low end? 20k, but bolstered by their value in creating the DD sets.

im on old gen so what do u think the price for old gen would be?
Whoa baby -who knows? I'm PC so I'm in the same boat. I'd add 20-25% to those numbers.

ight bc i bought most of my 86's for 30k or less. (Except for Tyreek i dropped 60k on him) thinking they would all go up to like 90k MINIMUM
