Dime formation idea

Would it be stupid to put CB boldin as my backup SS and FS so that he is in the linebacker position in a dime defense so I can have him man cover a player. The ability I would put on him would be one step ahead (0 AP)

I'm not sure you can even get him in the linebacker position. I went into practice mode with some cbs as my backup safeties and I couldn't get them on the field at linebacker. I tried every way I could think of and couldn't get it to work.

If you can get him on the field it sounds like a decent idea. But I wasn't able to. Let me know if you find a way though.

Let me know too looking for a way for that if not then I'll use Ronnie lott for 0ap inside shade

I found a way to put him in, for my sub LB second position I put my starting SS and made bolden his backup and he’s on the field in dime sets

just to be clear, I have my starting SS at the 2nd sub LB and bolden as a backup for My SS
