So an example of this would be like stonewall and reach for it. Stonewall stops additional yardage gains while reach for it tries to get additional yardage. Is there a guarentee on who wins the ability battle or is a toss up?
It depends, but generally one ability wins out over the other. Sometimes the offensive ability dominates like how the oline abilities made dline abilities practically useless last year. Other times the defensive ability generally wins like you see with KOs. Just depends on how EA codes it.
