Ive been labbing/practice mode everyday and while nothing can give you the same experience as playing against an actual H2H opponent with a user on the field I definitely believe practicing plays can make you better. I always write stuff down and have a notebook full of plays and which defense they work well against cause there's no way I would remember all that stuff. Trying out all the different route combos for alot of plays against all the different defenses can be very time consuming but I do enjoy it alot. Then of course you get into a real game where your opponent makes adjustments and users everywhere and it may not work as well in a real game but there's still some benefit to it.
There's alot in this game and its very complicated. Which area of the field a play works best on,which defense it works best against and what routes to use to fake out the user or be prepared for when they take away your #1 read and making sure you have a checkdown or two. Easier said than done though but practice mode has definitely helped me improve. I'm just curious how many players LAB the game and what your strategy is when doing so and if you write all the stuff down? I would guess most players would have to write that stuff down and probably have a notebook like me full of madden plays 😆.
