Just a curious question
In situations it is absolutely stupid not to like backed up on your 20 or fourth and forever. Or if the Game is almost over and potentially giving them a short field would just be stupid.
if I am anywhere near the 50 and it’s fourth and ten or less, I am going for it assuming it won’t screw me.
Occasionally, mostly when it's something long like 4th and 30 where I'm probably not converting or if I'm ahead and I've been playing good defense.
Once a year, maybe.
Yes. Definitely when I have the ball inside my own terroritory and 4th and 4+. Playing smart wins a lot of games

Agreed, these are the little things that set the truly elite players apart from the masses. Being able to control the clock, especially in a year when defense is so incredibly difficult becomes an extremely valuable skill. I'm not trying to sit here and pretend i'm an elite competitive player, heck i'm only in MVP tier, not even Legends (which i assume is top 1% of players), but i at least conceptually understand the importance of ball (and clock) control.
My 10 year old son plays this way, he won't EVER punt or even kick a field goal. He just lost one of my Solo Battles, it was 14-17 (CPU lead) with 0:01 second on the clock, he got a lucky bomb to the red zone, inside the 5, with time expiring... i'm sitting there suggesting he kick the FG and force OT, where i was confident he'd beat the computer, but he insisted on throwing a wild pass into the back of the endzone, only to lose the game with a last second pick. Not THE most unreasonable decision, but the fact he doesn't consider any kicking in his Madden is problematic in my mind.
Then again, i'm just a random grumpy old man, who truly wishes we were engaging with simulation fatball -- sadly, this has been anything but. YMMV, but yes if you're only kicking the ball once a year, you're probably playing a bit too aggressive. Ultimately, it's just a game, do whatever you prefer, but understand you'll continue to suffer from these type skill gap issues if you don't at least grasp the importance of clock and ball control. Good luck.

Never, not even if there is a fire
Once in a while if it's 4th and a mile.. but I can't stop anyone anyway so might as well take a shot if it's reasonable
I do usually once a game. If it's 4th and long and I'm I my own territory I punt. If it's 4th and short or I wouldn't be giving them short field I go for it
Rarely...if I find myself in a game where winning matters and I have long to go I would punt...but thus far...I have not found myself in a game that mattered if I won...so...I might punt...but I haven't yet.
