Does it really matter?

So I been just playing the challenges and doing just a couple of solo battles daily to get my dailies done and level up the solo part of the comp pass that's a weekly goal but not been doing much HR anymore and H2H or Mut Champs is too much for my already high anexity panic disorder. Maybe spending an hour on the game and that's it. 

Unless your a mut Champs or h2h competitor and run the game like a full time job is there really any need to stress to get a card that's 1000 users only? Or really worry about fully leveling up any of the field passes fully maxed out? Or even playing all 4 solo battles daily unless just to complete all the stats needed but I been getting mine done and skipping days because it's not necessary?

As a NMS player I'm finding this year's game is easy to make coins and doing nothing at all really.

I am just using what I can get from the passes  to put in my lineup and run with it and really don't care to spend coins on favorite players so I am wondering what your opinions are or how you feel about this year's game?

I don't hate it but don't love it I basically just neutral with the game this year and how playing it has been much less compared to last years but in a way I find it to be a good thing.

If the math someone did is correct you need to do 90% of all comp pass xp to max it. Which makes sense to a degree, but represents a huge time commitment. I know I won't be going for it.

It's weird the game just feels different this year and not sure the word I want to use but it's kinda boring and lacking in some degree. Still playable but doesn't feel like a madden game. Like you I Been spending very little time on the game. Just doing the basic necessities to scroung by to a degree I guess.

I seen that but is there really anything exciting to get from even completing the comp pass? Kinda like the field pass I feel there really isn't anything really worth grinding for. Just leveling up slowly but really nothing that gives me that OMG I need to level up and get that. Just doesn't feel exciting like older madden versions. But could be just me.

not only time commitment, but also skill level. if you're not good at the game they just make it impossible since mut champs games are limited to 25.

Last year I was stressed about doing solo battles, getting wins, etc. this year after a few weeks I dont really care and will just see what kind of team I can build offline. Plus Starfield comes out soon so there’s that

The gap between NMS & money-spent players tends to feel wide at the beginning and then narrows as the year continues. If you play the game consistently throughout the year, there are enough free cards and coins to over time build a very nice team.

I am a NMS player who came in Madden 24 having completed all of the Rookie Premiere sets in Madden 23 and ordered the Deluxe version of the game. I have not played a single MUT champions game and a total of five H2H games so far (won 2, lost 3). I have been completing the daily objectives and enough solo battles games to complete most of the weekly solo-battles stats targets.    

As things stand I have hit Level 25 of the Season Pass, have an 83 rated team and 1.3m coins. As more cards appear over the coming weeks, I will use those funds to buy Limited Edition 'rentals' and improve my team.

I am also spending time in Practice mode learning the differences with this years game and up a building playbook that I can take into H2H over the coming weeks. But my aim there is simply to have some fun and win around half my games; rather than worry about grinding out stats. 

I think you can have lots of fun in MUT as a NMS player, simply by playing the game consistently throughout the year and taking the longer term view!

I play pretty mush the same way. I hit level 24 in the field pass and level 13 comp pass. Like you I have an 83 overall team as well. I complete all my daily field pass and comp pass objectives and the weekly solo objectives as well. H2H for me is not fun since I always get put up against crazy good players with super teams. I have done enough just to get the non win objectives complete but to win a game has not been possible I have tried playing different times of the day but EA's algorithm thinks I can run with the elites for some reason. I still play but only to get some of the CP points that don't require wins. I have yet to get close to the 10 TD's and probably won't get it but I am trying.

It's not so much that the game is not fun it just feel unusual this time around. There is plenty of content for free and coins too and I have no issue with that and same with the H2H I think it's just how the servers work and location and areas are that determine who you play. 

Last year as a NMS player I didn't play for like two full months cam back and played with an 87 overall team but by june I had way over ten million coins stacked and a 99 overall team with zero golden ticket players "didn't see a single one that looked good personally" I did all the RP sets which is what I am running with now and sold the Hutchinson card and made really good coin from it alone. I buy LTD cards but only if I can get for 425K and under as I don't like to over pay for rentals unless I have a feeling that card value will go up once it leaves the packs and I can snag if for 450-460k and make profit from it then I will spend a little extra. But that depends on on how many I see in the store and who the player is.

Later when the limited player item is a 95+ probably. Right now though I dont think its worth it unless you REALLY want to just sell the player ASAP. You could get the same value from a bundle, which I also dont recommend investing in lol but still.
