Does WR and TE Release Matter

I'm thinking about picking up Charlie Joiner for the legend TT but he has under 90 release. Both Tyreek and Diggs are over. Does it matter that much?

if they have the speed then id say it doesnt matter as much cause its just getting that breakaway at the start of the route run

Thanks for the reply. Joiner will be the same speed as Tyreek with legends chem. Who would you recommend out of all of the shorter, quicker wrs?

Under 6' is a no go for me. I think release matters for press but if you have high acc you may be able to out beat them instead of getting stuck on the line.

Depends, are u looking for a specific chem since u mentioned joiner’s legends chem

I'm 40+ on legends right now. I like that Joiner is taller than Tyreek, but Tyreek has some really amazing stats. Also Tyreek has 90 release and Joiner is only 87. I just don't know how much that stat really matters.
