Hit the nail right on the head. These youtubers that drop thousands a year on packs have zero room to complain about how bad they are. If these guys want a change then they should stop paying so much a week. The only way EA will ever fix the game is if the company sees massive losses in profit.

That's why i just don't understand this pack strike thing. It's like they just want the community to get behind them and then in a week, they will spend another 2-3k. imo, one of the worst things to happen to gaming was youtube and streaming.

I wouldn't say streaming was the worst thing to happen to gaming, its arguably made gaming more popular. The worst thing for gaming has been companies being able to get away with selling unfinished games and then selling the rest as dlc/expansion/microtransactions.

I sincerely doubt winning against your squad requires that much skill, but lemme know whenever you wanna put that to the test.  Will absolutely make some time for you this week.  Ole Peatrick wants a shot at the champ.  I'm not particularly great at the game, i've been playing around ~11 months now and this is my second ever MUT squad.  But it doesn't really require any amount of experience to push back on brain-dead, terrible takes.  Because pumping actual money into a gambling machine makes you big man on campus, eh Joe?  Where you goin with that gun in your hand??  That seems liek great fun, not selfish at all.  Absolutely horrendous perspective, lil buddy...  maybe take a few dollars that you'd normally spend on packs and invest that into trying to buy a damn clue.  🤡

Just because we can afford to dump a couple/few hundred dollars into our MUT squads each and every month doesn't mean it's a good or noble idea.  I get it, everyone wants an advantage, but actual competitive gameplay requires a consistent, even (meaning: fair) playing field.  Madden in its current iteration has neither consistent, nor fair gameplay.  Buggy ass shit, combined with pure greed is bad, it's killing the damn game and most of the community (including whales and some content creators) are fed up with the blatant, low-effort, recycled pure cash grab "content" or whatever we're terming stuff liek Mixup Mondays and Cover Athletes.  One might not be so terrible, but these bad decisions are adding up.  Not sure why the concept of wanting fair gameplay is so difficult to understand.  Hell, even if they brought back the MUT Draft game type, that'd be a decent start so anyone could dive right into the action.

Lemme know what your schedule is looking liek, I'll start training for our big adventure.  I played a bunch of House Rules over Thanksgiving weekend, but i'm definitely out of practice.  Regardless, will be a good learning opportunity for me.

If everyone else were jumping off a bridge, would you?  Do you folks not have parents to teach you things, what is wrong with the world??  SMH.  Apparently i'm getting old and out of touch.  So much absolutely horrendous justification going down, oof.  So backwards.  The divide between the haves and have-nots is already way too extreme, there is zero rationale to perpetuate this, beyond sheer human greed.  I get that the world is not fair, but that doesn't mean we should just lay down and die and throw up our arms and condone awful behavior, from one another or from giant, soulless corporations.  Please stop being so pathetic.  YOU deserve better... and so do i.  We are not getting the best possible Madden experience, regardless of how much we pay.

It's saying that the product costs money, and not everyone can buy said product, but the people that do buy it aren't wrong for deciding what they want to spend their money on

because cards in the game are digital luxury products, sad you don't understand that and you like to come up with quirky little meme expressions, however you couldn't be more wrong. we don't have to kill MUT and top tier cards just because you said so.

There is a massive difference between not being able to afford a luxury product and wanting a VIDEO GAME that we already paid $60-$100 for to work and not have to treat it like a job to be good at it.
