Finally sold it all and rocking the BND Squad

With Rookie Premiere likely coming next week in season 7 AND a week long vacation starting next Friday, I sold the whole squad. This was my first season in MUT so going to see if this Rookie Premiere promo is worthwhile - seems like opinions are mixed at best. I do NMS so getting a head start on building the coin stack next season is what I need to do rather than worrying about the last three weeks of the Madden season as I imagine the content will really moderate once NCAA is out. I'm sitting on 18mn coins now so hoping that is enough to get the whole rookie class.

Anyone with experience in building Rookie Premieres last year have any thoughts/opinions to share?

I didnt do it, but I remember very well that for the people who DID, it was very much NOT worth it. Probably wouldn't have been worth it anyway imo but they didnt even GET the RP cards in the new game til like, weeks later when many of them were already outdated .

So just be warned, if it requires any kind of time investment or hoop jumping ill probably pass. Ill get Drake Maye of course. Maybe a couple others if I can. But im certainly not going out of my way.

Buy right away. Prices just get more and more expensive. I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with rookie premiere because this is the first year I have multiple millions of coins just chillin. But I also don’t know if or when I’m gonna play the next madden. So idk what to do with my coins but do rookie premiere

Yeah if you just read about what rookie premiere is it definitely seems worth it. But I went thru it last year to try and do the same, get a jump start on the team and try to get the coin stack up. But unless they change it all the rookies you get are bnd on both maddens. The only card you were able to sell last year was the master Aiden Hutchinson card which you got only if you completed all 32 individual RPs and got all the tokens. I can’t even remember what they were selling for when Madden first came out cause I upgraded consoles 3 weeks in so I can’t tell you if they were worth it or not. But like the other people have said and this is the part that really rubbed me wrong was that it took weeks to get the correct RP cards in the new Madden and by then a lot of them were outdated so that was frustrating for sure. With EA being EA you have to assume they’re always gonna mess something up so I’ll be interested to see what it is this year. If they truly get to your account within the first 1-3 days then that’s a different story and would be a decent advantage

RP cards typically have a pretty short useful shelf life in the next version. Not the incentive EA thinks it is IMHO.

This is great advice and makes complete sense.

My thought is that as soon as they drop the promo, everyone is going to firesell the expensive cards they own to buy the Rookie Premiere cards. This creates a situation where there's no bid for a 1mn-3mn coin card as everyone's focus is shifting to 25 and there's only a few weeks of 24 left. I figure I'll be able to buy the Rookie Premiere cards I want THEN buy the bulk of my team back for the last 2-3 weeks once prices crash.
