It said titw set this week takes any 85 over preseason player.   85s shit up to 160k but there is no way that it doesn't end up saying week 1 85s.  Those who bought the current.85s.are.gonna get burned.

Yea that would be rough. I didn't buy any but it would suck for the people that did. Hopefully that's not the case

But thinking about it, you're right. It wouldn't make sense to allow people to use preseason players for a week 1 card. It's a new week and a new set

It's probably a mistake and 85 preseason won't be allowed.  People will complain here, on Twitter, and during gmm.  You know what though, they'll complain anyways, so I bet it's never addressed.

My guess is it will be either a week 1 TOTW player, or at best, an any week TOTW player.   Can't imagine them making the week 1 85s irrelevant right off the bat.

The preseason TOTW pack indicated it would have one pre-season TOTW player and one any week player.  Would imagine that every future TOTW pack follows the same formula.  Would be nice if if the sets used any week players so the pack contents are semi-meaningful each week, but not getting my hopes up.
