Guys switching in coverage in cover 2 man

I just played a game where my guys would switch who they were covering mid play. Is this a setting?

No it was regular cover two man. My corner had the TE pre snap and the LB had the RB. The rb was sent on a wheel and they just switched, this happened 2 times. I recorded the gameplay.

I think something changed with man coverage and zone knock outs seem to have increased. 

Did EA tweek something?

No setting that I am aware of, and I believe this won't happen if you either user your corner or your LB that you are referring to, as the game doesn't expect you to know how to play the coverage. I assume since the RB went on a wheel to the outside and the TE went inside, that's why they switched. You can try reproducing it in practice. Usually you can see the players pointing at each other to switch as well.
