H2H ranked level

Just reached  top 100 in H2H ranked and I’m pretty juiced about it cus it’s my first time . Just wondering how many other players are top 100 on here ? How difficult would you say it was to get there cus I’d say I’m pretty average at the game but had to switch up my game plan to get to top 100.

Never played ranked. Too many people with ‘switched up game plans’. What a peculiar way to describe Bizarro-World Football.

Just be careful no one passes you up right at the end.

I was 85 but then didn't play for two days and dropped to like 120. You have to stay on top of it. Such a grind.

Mann why do I sense hatred ? What’s wrong with adjusting one’s game plan if it brings success ?

I'm top 100. It was easy for me.

He probably thinks you're a cheeser, which sounds possible/likely. Most non-cheesers aren't big fans of cheesers.

lol I hate cheesers too cus there’s much better ways to win games than abusing the same play over and over. what I did / am doing is RUN THE BALL ! You’ll be surprise to see how most defenses struggle against the run .

'Switched up rushing game plans' generally include alternating somewhat randomly between RPO's, sweeps, stretch runs, and when the opponent tries to leverage against runs outside the tackles, runs up the middle, possibly the only truly Football 101 tactic, but effective in an exaggerated way because the outside runs have outsized success.

When you're effective running the ball in the scenario you're describing, it's likely also because you're glitching out the offensive line AI once you're on defense. It's hard to win games at a high level leaning heavily on the run when your opponent has the lead late and has run out the clock.

It's not a personal hatred, by the way. I have no idea who you are. But cheese is cheese, regardless of how you try to sanitize it. You can't rule in some countries without bribery. You can't reach the top in MUT without cheese.

I guess my play style is consider cheesy cus you describe it perfectly . however , if that’s what it’s gonna take everytime to reach top 100 I’m gonna keep doing it cus it works for me . I’ve came to the realization that this game is not meant to be played as if it’s real life , you’ll only be creating more anger issues for yourself 😂

Thank you for your honesty. It’s refreshing. I can’t believe how many people try to argue that doing what you’re doing is in any way legitimate football.

I long for the day when EA makes Madden play like real football, and users will have to learn how the sport works to have success: That users will have to leverage personnel properly; when predictably sending seven rushers almost certainly results in touchdowns; when holding the ball for four-and-a-half seconds almost certainly will result in a sack; when speed isn’t the be-all, end-all of schemes; when personnel respond properly to opposing players’ repeated actions. Maybe then I could be a Top 100 Player instead of a User with Scruples.
