H2H Seasons VS Champions Payouts

So, fortunately, have been able to sit in legends division for H2H seasons for a few weeks. 5K per win/ 1k per loss, 25K for making playoffs, 6K for playoff wins, and 35K and a TD pack (which has some nice pulls) for making the SB. I have yet to actually win an SB in Legends, but won a few in MVP and remember getting some nice rewards, so I can only imagine they'd be better in Legends. All in all (including packs), a somewhat successful season can net you 125K-200K (maybe more) Competition in seasons seems to be nicely matched as well, get a few easy wins, take a few beatings, and a few dog fights in between. Overall, love seasons.

Champions however... every game is white knuckle, once I get to about 10 wins, I run into a freight train of sweatiness that makes me question my own Madden existence. I'm lucky to eek out 15 wins. Meanwhile, a big fat 0 of rewards for being unranked awaits me while I rack up a whopping total of 1K per win? I'm guessing if you get ranked, the rewards must be insane, but how insane? and how hard is it to get ranked? Basically, I play Champions for comp pass XP, but starting to wonder if that's even worth it.

You get no rewards for being ranked in Champions this year. Champions is only there to help progress the Comp Pass. Since it gives the highest CP payout people play it every week.

You bring up a very interesting point that I never really considered and most are probably in my same boat. To me it totally depends on if you max out the Comp pass and the method you use to do so. I focus on solo battles during the week. Pretty easy, I load into the game, let the cpu play defense while I do other stuff around the house and then chew clock on offense. ONly time I pay attention in Solo Battles is for specific objectives. For Champions league I treat it like Weekend League and only play on Saturday and Sunday. My goal is ten wins each time and I dont care how many I lose. I get matched up with a cheeser who is running a god squad, Im out. Those Champions wins allow me to max out the CP which is worth 100k, two packs and a 91 plus legend. To me that is worth it. H2h is fine its just hard to sit down and play a bunch of 45 minute games during the week. A solo battle game takes me 15 to 30 minutes and that is with doing other stuff (laundry, making dinner, taking the dog out, paying attention to familiy) so it does not seem like a huge time sink. Now if we start comparing Champions to Weekend League the rewards were ten times better in WL. It made me want to win as many games as possible or atleast hit the 16 win threashold. This made me usually play the max amount of games 25 or atleat 23 or 24 games to get those 16 wins. Now I get the ten wins in sometimes 12 or 13 games and I dont play anymore because there is no incentive.

Wow, so even worse than I thought. Just strange that with the heightened competition and the fact that you have to "earn" a champions pass to play, you'd think they'd up the incentives. Just kind of boring.

Yea, not a bad strategy, but I get bored playing Solo Battles. As cheesy as H2H can get, I enjoy the comp and typically someone is quitting before it becomes a grind of a game. I agree weekend league from last year made things much more interesting. CP is nice, but nothing extraordinary. Prob gonna scale back on Champions, just not enough incentive.
