The direction Madden has gone as a whole it would pretty much make the game unplayable or atleast just not fun if we still had 12ap... I honestly wasn't a fan of the switch because I thought it helped AKA x-factors (which it did for RBs) but at the same time the way people play now is just plain dumb so with all these man and zone abilities for so cheap it's become the same thing every single game..
No one wants to make O-line adjustments on offense every single play because your opponent found some OP blitz on youtube that screams in in 2 seconds. It's honestly a shame that kids don't just play the game like its meant to anymore and try to outsmart someone with actual football IQ rather than just using broken plays. Regardless of whether you find a way to beat them or not it's just exhausting and extremely boring playing the same shit over and over again.

This game is so far gone from football my man. Removing AKA X-factors would not do much. I agree they should be gone, but there needs to be a lot more work done than that for this game to get back to an actual football video game. At this point shits just basically who watches more youtube videos.

I mean I get the complaint about some plays being more powerful than others but complaining about kids learning it on YouTube is a little annoying to me because they’re using their resources. At a certain point I’m allowed to use calculus even tho leibniz discovered it not me

Not the point I'm trying to make at all... some of these glitch blitz setups are not very hard to learn. Probably takes 10 minutes of watching a video. It's the fact that that is not football, and I get it, this is a video game it's not real football, but we can't control what every single player is doing so it's pretty stupid to me that that's what people resort to doing to win games.
How is that playing the actual game? I'll answer that question for you, it's not. Call me crazy but I actually like to try and play madden like an actual football game (because I like football and played it for many years), which I would assume is how it was originally created, since it's a football video game but this game is so far from football at this point we should just start calling it something else.

I mean a lot of this is also a risk reward thing. Most of these blitzes (at least the ones that function well against good players) involve sending 6+ people at the QB. That’s too high risk to use consistently in the NFL but in madden you can guarantee top level coverage at least in MUT. It’s still playing the game, it’s just play selection. And play selection will never be realistic because we’re using a team with no holes in it

EA has so much power but are lazy to do anything i remember when we switch to next gen gaming the movement was so slow and they came out on their twitter after the outrage and sped up the movement speed for the entire game.
They have so much power to make the gameplay interesting but refuse to be "innovative" to their community.
"Madden seasons" 🙄 why can't that be the entire level difficulty of the entire game instead of ALL-PRO Settings?

Yeah I run NS on my Guards for 0ap also. Ive thought about getting Bitonio cause I'll pretty much be getting post up for free. I didn't know OOP Bruce Smith TE got 0ap NS. I might have to try him out.

Yea he’s amazing at TE with his nasty steak, same with madden. but I can’t tell if my Guards need it more or if my tackles need it more. any advice?

I played IRL for 12 years and have been a fan all my life. I want a game that takes me back to that, not some arcade rubbish with lightening under players like its Mortal Combat or something? And MUT can be sooooooo dull at times. The games I live for is when I come up against someone who actually tries to outsmart me, has better stick skills or even just a better team that he knows what to do with. 70% of the time its playing idiots who run 1 play either side and quit as soon as its countered or people that think Tebow will hide the fact they can't play very well.
I mean, Dollar should just not hold up to a power run unless my 5 OL are dogshit and his 3 DL are the best in the game. Someone just should not be able to run engage 8 all game and still cover Receivers running quick routes. It makes for a boring game that I think even people who run it must get bored of? I played a game last night that I stayed in just to see what I could do. The entire game was 2 plays. Some kind of Cover 3 blitz out of Dollar and a 3 WR set with 2 crosses. He just threw to the player that was not covered by my User no matter what. So he had 1 read on O, and did jack shit on D for the best part of an hour. For 3000 coins?? That game could not have been in the least bit fun for him either surely?
