How do I turn off the Baked on Abilities on the 91's, 95's, and 98's

I have Eric Dickerson fully upgraded with the token.  I also have the 91 Doug Smith, and the 95 OVR Chris Hinton, which are in Dickerson's supporting cast.  I am getting the boost for those two from Dickerson, but the 91 and 95 come with a bunch of baked on abilities that cost AP.  I don't want to use those abilities, as I don't have the AP to spare.  Is there a way to turn them off and use just the 0 AP ones?

Not that I know of, as of yet.  Everything says locked for me when I click on it.

Doesn't work on these.  They are locked.  I have seen every answer from they are broken and EA might fix, to that is the way they are and to use the 0 AP abilities you have to spend the AP on the others.  If that is the case I will never use any of them.  The Cover Athlete cards had baked-on abilities, but those could be deleted, so time will tell.

They broke this last year or year before too, but i forget if it was fixed. It’s a big hit.

This is exactly how it was last year with some of these cards or another promo I can’t remember. They wouldn’t give us 95s or 91s with free 0 ap abilities. So to use any you gotta use all of them. So if you want the free ones you gotta pay the cost.  But it’s pretty dumb because if you have the supporting cast I can’t imagine theres even enough ap to go around.
