EA have strategically increased the prices of new players by scaling back rewards from solo challenges and packs.
Very few players are obtaining new content without spending a lot of money or some rare cases building stacks working the market.
This is following the FIFA path where spending several thousand Euros is required to have a top team.
We can also argue this prevents a proliferation of 'god' squads.
How much are you willing to spend on this game?
I've never spent over 300 dollars in one year on one single edition of Madden and will continue to do so
This is a tough question to answer at this time. In normal times, I bet more people than would care to admit it would spend embarrassing sums on this game. If it sounds like I'm speaking from experience, it's because I am. But my pockets are closed for now.
This is not normal times. The game is so broken that the players are in open rebellion and the response has been akin to "let them eat cake."
Who wants to pay $500 for that experience? Solve the underlying issues and you'll see people open up their pocketbooks. Invest in the experience and you'll see a return. I can only pray that someone with some decision making authority reads this.

Im not spending any money until product quality improves and they engage with players.
I have a difficult time justifying anything over $500 a month.
Just the cost of the game, game is trash because of money spending whales

Other than cost of game(all-madden edition) i had spent an extra $50 on the game pre-packstrike but if i judge it on the money i spent on 22 then i am comfortable spending a couple hundred or so through the year to get the team that i want
the only time i spend money is during Christmas when i get gift cards other than that i don't spend the money i work for on this game

I'll say this. We all pay somehow some way. We either spent ungodly amounts of time or ungodly amounts of money. People come to this game with a variety of life circumstances be it jobs, kids, school or otherwise, and we all have different levels of time and money to spend.
I don't begrudge having to spend money to cover the limited amount of time I have to spend on this game. I do begrudge having to spend so much money because the time I do spend doesn't matter at all. Broken rewards, broken sets, busted gameplay, and lack of communication about when it'll get better all make it difficult to justify any money or time.
God, I hope they're listening and that the rumor (and I stress that it is unsubstantiated) about the MUT team retaliating because they're upset about pack strike and the other abuse hurled their way is just a rumor, but how the hell would we know without any communication?

They definitely de-prioritised granting HR rewards and others.
The fact they were able to quickly grant the more complex TVP makerights suggests there has been a decision made to withhold.

No more than what I paid for the game at launch.
As stated in a previous post, I have what I consider better things in my life to spend my PDI on, and I refuse to yield to EA's manipulative and coercive behaviour on this issue.
Over the course of the life of the game, I never spend more than $50 and most of that is within the first month or two.
This year, I've spent $15 (bought some of the weekly fantasy packs at the beginning of the year). Won't be spending anymore unless things drastically improve.
