How the chuck do you throw a lob pass?

Ive done it in challenges before (i remember it taking many tries even then) i cant for the life of me get it done rn. Its not just tap instead of holding the button like youd think (or like google seems to think) thats a "touch pass" and takes a little off it but it doesn't check the box for a "lob pass" in challenges. Anybody? Lol

I come out in Empty, and run a streak with outside WRs. Them pressing you helps a ton, so if you can get a press situation, just let the receiver clear the CB and just tap the button. I feel like whenever ppl have this problem, heavy fingers are the culprit. Just barely tap it.
