When i get an interception my guy runs where he wants to at first mindlessly. Also when I’m on defense when the ball is snapped my user just goes where it wants unless I hit something right away. Is there a setting to turn off for this not to happen?
There are some settings like defensive switch assist so when you switch off a player, to a different one, he runs the "correct" direction. You can try some of those settings and see. There's ball hawk, heat seeker, etc., settings. Give those a try

I don’t think there’s anything you can do for the interception. It‘a a continuation of motion in the direction the player was going before making the INT.
You can control your user simply by blitzing them pre-snap. It they are assigned a zone or man coverage they will be pulled in that direction after the snap.

I always blitz my user. It doesn’t change the fact that if I’m not slightly on the stick he will take off where he wants to when the ball is snapped. The interception thing makes no sense. I understand the screen spins around and it continues. But at times you Lose all control of the guy for way longer than it should be and it’s costed me running directly into a tackler.

Yeah I know what you mean with the interception thing. Unfortunately I think it’s just something you try to get used to because I don’t think you can change it.
If you blitz your user pre-snap and don’t press anything when the ball snaps then your user will blitz because you are giving zero input to your user so the cpu takes over and does whatever the player is assigned to do, in this case blitz.

It used to be way worse. This is the improved version of what it used to be. Theres no real way to fix it

100% correct on the user input. You can't leave your controller alone post-snap and expect your user to stand still. They will play to their pre-snap input (man, zone, blitzing) until you actually do something on your controller.
