I'm interested in the communities thoughts on the importance of PRC for DBs. I've found DBs with a lower PRC score affects their reaction in zone and man coverage. How much does a lower PRC affect a DBs play? Thanks!
As far as I remember it has nothing to do with zone play at all. It is the players reaction time to run vs pass.
Its so weird that things like that aren't common knowledge. Same for thresholds on stats and what they are actually affecting - if anything.
I "think" PRC is important for all defensive positions...especially when it comes to play action. Not sure about zone or man coverage...my DBs are lights out some games...and not so much on others when it comes to coverage.

That is simply the RNG in the game. PRC, like so many other attributes, gets weighted by one or more undefined random factors, and is merely a baseline for calculations performed during each play. Without the random factors, game play would have less variation from play to play. Of course this also means that sometimes you lose on big plays because of a purely random result, even when you’ve done everything right.
