So this is my first Madden since I stopped playing in the past 4 years. Having 600 hours into the game since it's came out I've noticed a lot of things especially when new players get released. And that's why I want to have a general topic is EA really money hungry to provide a pay to win when it's a make or break year for them.
The things I've noticed:
Attributes- these numbers don't mean a damn thing. I've noticed that depending on what players that are going to release some players start perform better than others.
IE: Najee Harris & Rhamonde Stevenson. When Najee came out, he felt horrible. He didn't feel like he would be a top running back with high BTK and TRK. I felt cheated,so I went back to Rhamonde who has less of an over and I know it just one point less than Najee in those two categories. But Rhamonde felt like a premium running back, breaking tackles trucking through for extra yards, etc. As of 9/29 playing with Rhamonde it's seems like something's changed. He feels sluggish, not breaking as many tackles, still trucking but not as powerful. Najee finally seems like him and Rhamonde have switched places. And this is over multiples games/hours of testing to come here to present this for a discussion. But I'm not just seeing this in these two players another example would be how dominant Calvin Johnson was as a wide receiver and how he is able to separate as a receiver from coverage, now that Keenan Allen is out Calvin seems to stick with coverage is not attentive as much when trying to aggressively catch the ball and seems more sluggish (nothing has changed on my roster in a week for these changes to be so drastic).
What I'm overall trying to get at is EA pushing pay to win to fuel their buisness. These players are supposed to feel unique and the new field sense technology stuff is great but to get in a more technical side it just seems like EA form of uniqueness is just changing a couple things in metafiles on a character such as height, weight, etc. To separate them apart for their uniqueness not their actual stats and capabilities they can do in real life. In short I feel a lot of players are copy pasta and depending on the promo they're trying to sell that's what's going to do well and that's poo.
Tell me what you think, you think I'm hitting the nail on the head with the copy pasta players depending on which promo their doing or that I'm an idiot and I'm completely wrong.
