Is the FG Block Cheating?

What do you think? Even with a perfect kick im getting blocked over and over. Am i doing something wrong? Just lost a game because of it. SMH

If youre speaking of the fg glitch yes and 9 -10 peeps i play now try to use it and when they do i just go for 2 .You would think something so simple to be fixed would have been done months ago.

Nah its cheating. Pretty sure the game was never meant to be used that way but i can see your view.

Not sure if it's cheating since anyone on old gen can do it. And it's been around long enough and is prevalent on old gen that anyone on old gen should be gameplanning around the fact a kick will probably be blocked.

Don't get me wrong I definitely do think it's scummy to do it and EA should have patched it by now. I don't fault anyone for doing though just like how I don't fault almost everyone who kicks to the fullback because it's the best strategy.

To sum up my view I wouldn't do it to my opponent unless my opponent does to me

No because everyone can exploit it. Its probably somewhat of a glitch but it’s not cheating because it’s not going against any rules laid out in the game

ok so its been around for a while... Got ya. Ive just never took the time to look up how to do it, never needed to, but lately its been happening a lot. So not cheating is the verdict. Ill just start doing it then lol. Thanks yall.

I don’t think you can call it cheating because EA is very aware of it and simply chosen not to fix it. It’s not really a glitch, the game is coded to give the defender a free run at the kicker by simply spamming the correct button through the snap. 

Unfortunately on old gen it’s just part of the game. I chose to stop kicking in 22 and I only kicked once in 23 to see that the block was still alive. Just have to find a couple of good 2pt plays and figure out how to do the block if you want to win in H2H’s on old gen. 

It’s not like someone tampering with the connection or glitching the server to get a disconnect win.

1 I don’t know how 

2 I’m too lazy to look up how

You need a lefty kicker. Or get Hammer as your punter and sub him in for extra points and shorter FG’s. That’s what I do. Also helps to have someone with identifier activated on your special teams unit. If you see the opposing player lined up on the left (not the furthest to the left, but the second one from far left,) you’ll know he’s coming for the block. It’s sad that EA never fixed this issue but it’s just something we have to deal with and work around until you get on current gen.
