I want to get a top player to put at LE. Either of these is a 95 at the position. I want a better pass rush from that spot, and I'm torn about which will provide it. Each has his merits. Any ideas guys?
Edit: Here is the comparison

i would go smith. i got him bnd from the legends solos and he's great. he's cheaper and is stronger based on stats
They will both play the same with those stats. Just go kearse since he’s faster
Smith plays better. He is the single best edge rusher in the game rn. And he gets incredible discounts…and his is ETE not just ET. It’s a no brainer if coin isn’t an issue.
These are the 2 options I'm considering when I make my upgrade at LE in the next few days. I'm going to go with Bruce Smith for a couple reasons.

- Ability combos and AP cost
- You can combine double or nothing with edge threat elite for the same AP cost (3) as Kearse can get double or nothing with only edge threat. Having edge threat elite also gives you under pressure, which is great if your opponent isn't using fearless.
- Double or nothing (1 AP), extra credit (0 AP), and instant rebate (0 AP) for a total of 1 AP. Double or nothing on it's own is okay, but adding extra credit for an additional max pass rush point and instant rebate to get a point refunded for a successful block shed makes it a lot better and allows you to keep a players pass rush points at 2 or higher for a longer period of time.
- Not that I drop my DEs into coverage often, but Smith does have 74 ZCV compared to 64 for Kearse. If/when I drop him into the flat or on a hook, he is less of a liability.
- Smith is slightly stronger.
i 100% agree with this logic
