Legendary Strategy Items

Would someone who owns the ‘Let it Rip’ with ’In the Zone’ additional boosts let me know how that works? 
 

What are the boosts to your defense and can you run a different defensive strategy card like ‘Ball Hawk’ and then get boosts for both ‘In the Zone’ and ‘Ball Hawk’?

You have to get the 2 that match. they either have an arm flexing or something that looks like a headset to me. have to be the same. The one that looks like a microphone adds 1 extra zone point, the arm flexing I believe it throw power

Thanks for the reply, do you actually have a Legendary Strategy Item to confirm your post with? 
 

What you say seems to be contrary to the MUT GG site on pairing with Legendary Strategy Items. 

The MUT GG site says:

“Legendary Strategy items come with increased boosts on the front of the item compared to their Epic version. Instead of needing to be paired with another Strategy Item to receive its bonus boost, Legendary Strategy items account for x2 Components and unlock the Strong Arm or Zone boost by themselves.“

I am just looking to know if pairing is necessary and if not what does a  ’Let It Rip’ Legendary Strategy Item with x2 ‘In The Zone’ boosts look like in terms of defensive boosts?

With the legendary items, they're x2 so they don't need to match. If you want throw power make sure you select the flexing stm that says x2. Same with defense if you want say the +4 zone item, just make sure it has the radar icon that says x2.

They are NOT like the purple epic items that you have to match offense and defense.

Thanks for this post I was looking at moving from epic to legendary this helps a lot

I run Let It Rip on offense, In the Zone on defense and my Cowboys strat. All legendary. Definitely worth it.

These things shot up crazy high when they came out of the daily objective rewards. I think once strategies come back as a daily reward after Zero Chill we may see the Legendary Let it Rip and On The Zone’s come back a little closer to Quicksell value instead of 200k+. 😳
